Mother’s Day Luncheon Menu

Sunday 26th March – Seating Times: 12.00, 12.30, 3.00 and 3.30 p.m.


Cream of cauliflower soup topped with a stilton croute (v)
Avocado and crayfish bound in a light dill mayonnaise, served on lemon dressed leaves under a blanket of oak smoked salmon
Deep fried brie encased in a light almond crumb, served with a home made kumquat marmalade (v)
Duck liver paté flavoured with a hint of orange, served with a redcurrant and port wine sauce and hot toasted cinammon baguette
Roasted fresh figs served on a rocket and parmesan salad, topped with Parma ham
(v – without Parma ham)
Ham hock and sweet garlic terrine, served with a pineapple and chilli salsa

Main Courses

Prime roast rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding
Baked supreme of chicken filled with Welsh rarebit on creamed linguini, dressed with a smoked sweet paprika sauce
Grilled fillet of salmon served on a cushion of wilted spinach and pak choi, dressed with a light saffron sauce
Vegetable tart tatin served on a plum tomato, red onion and basil salad with a balsamic reduction (v)
 Roast tenderloin of organic pork with a chestnut stuffing and Bramley apple sauce
Paupiette of seabass filled with a smoked salmon mousseline on creamed leeks, dressed with a traditional Béarnaise sauce and garnished with seared queen scallops


Vanilla crème brulée with blueberry shortbread 
Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce
Strawberry parfait served on a vanilla cream rippled with dark chocolate
Selection of English and Continental cheeses, served with biscuits and grapes
